San Francisco's Jazz Heritage Center Grand Opening. HEI artists E.J. Gold, Zoe Alowan, S.L. Boyd, Kelly Rivera and Douglass-Truth joined Ed Dwight and Phonel Roberts in a Group Show celebrating the Grand Opening of San Francisco's Jazz Heritage Center, along with Yoshi's Jazz Club (and Restaurant) at 1300 Fillmore. E.J. Gold displays new art at IAJE Conference Toronto 2008. Jazz artist E.J. Gold, official provider of JazzArt ® paintings for the International Association for Jazz Education unveiled new works at the Association's 35th Annual International Conference in Toronto January 9th through 12th, 2008. Gold presented both monumental-sized canvases and 7' by 11' stage backdrops for the event. Another of his paintings was selected as the signature graphic for the Conference, to appear on tee-shirts, Toronto street banners, program books and the like. More >>>

JazzArt ® at International Conference. Jazz Art by E.J. Gold and the Grass Valley Graphics Group was honored once again to collaborate with the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE) in creating an atmosphere of creativity and performance with a fusion of the arts -- jazz and jazz art. The blending of art with musicians live on stage has been the successful experiment of jazz art ... gracing the stages for great musicians Oscar Peterson, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Nancy Wilson, Benny Maupin, Russell Malone ... and educators, students and thousands of jazz enthusiasts in Toronto, New York and at the Convention Center in Long Beach January 5 - 8, 2005.

Saluting TOOTS! Thielemans. GVGG went to the Mill Valley Jazz! event in July which featured harmonica great Toots Thielemans and keyboard player Kenny Werner on the GVGG art-studded stage.

It started with WYNTON MARSALIS who said "this should surely happen more" when he played to a Grass Valley house full of people and fabulous art. And the rest is history! GVGG art is in demand for jazz events around the world.
